Salio Rooms Cookie Policy
This document explains how Salio Rooms uses cookies, local browser storage and similar technologies, which elements are necessary, which require consent and how users can manage settings.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on a user's device by a website. Salio Rooms may also use similar technologies such as localStorage or sessionStorage to store settings and technical data in the browser.
In this Policy, cookies also means technologies that store information on the user's terminal device or access information already stored there.
2. Categories
| Necessary | Session, login, security, abuse prevention, basic settings and correct operation of forms. |
|---|---|
| Preferences | Language, analytics consent, calendar settings, default calendar provider and other user choices. |
| Analytics | Page view and CTA click measurement only after user consent. The current analytics layer does not load an external analytics provider. |
| Demo/local | In demo mode the Website may store test data in the browser, including rooms, bookings, users, plan and demo session. |
| External | Stripe, Google, Microsoft or other providers may use their own cookies after redirect or integration activation. |
3. Examples used by Salio Rooms
- salio_access_token, salio_refresh_token, salio_web_session and salio_web_role - technical cookies related to session, role and login security.
- salio.analytics.consent - analytics consent status.
- salio.locale - preferred interface language.
- salio.api.session, salio.api.session.available and salio.web.client-session - auxiliary local client session information.
- salio.calendar.defaultProvider and salio.calendar.personalProvider - calendar integration preferences.
- salio.demo.* - data used in demo or local mode.
4. Consent, settings and retention
Technologies necessary for the Website may be used without separate consent because they are required to provide the requested service or maintain security.
Optional technologies, especially analytics, are used after the user's consent. The user may refuse analytics and still use the basic functions.
The user may change browser cookie settings, remove stored site data or clear localStorage. Disabling necessary technologies may prevent login or correct Application operation.
Session cookies may expire after the session or login period. Preferences, analytics consent and demo data may remain in the browser until removed by the user, reset or changed by the Service.
